Uni PIN fineliner and W&N watercolour on cartridge paper
This little pen & wash ‘marine sketch’ is from the imagination. It was an experiment to see whether or not the ink from my new Uni PIN fine-liner pen would withstand a watercolour wash without seeping. These pens are described as having waterproof ink, and the above test shows the claim to be true. I noticed no seepage or wash-out from the ink at all. I am in the habit of putting several such small drawings on a page of my A3 sketchbook, hence why it is cropped too tightly at the top, to cut out another drawing where it impinges on this one. The odd marks top left and lower left belong to other drawings. Colours are mixed from the Winsor & Newton Professional watercolour range.
